Happy Safe BabyI live in Illinois and am expecting a baby in May. I heard that hep-b is mandatory and can be given to the baby without the parents knowledge. I do not want my baby to be vaccinized while it is so little. Anyone know the laws about this topic, or a way around having it done? Hep-b is one of the more dangerous vaccines to give to newborns.
Now that I have a 16 month old owning my home I have been astonished by everything that has had to be baby proofed! I am going shopping tomorrow for stove knob covers (never would have thought in 1,000 years to baby proof the knobs on my stove). What have you all found to be over board, but necessary to baby proof as well?
My baby is 8 months old, I was having this sickness before babies birth and was alright after the birth of my baby. Now I am having pain on my neck, a slight inflammation in fingers , pain in the feet.
My 8 month old daughter is eating stage 2 baby foods. I have looked in my books for specific amounts on how much to feed her but the books only say take out only enough for what you will use. With a 4 oz jar I take out 10-15 baby spoonfuls of food which is about 1/2 the jar and then give her formula after wards. She seems happy and full and is gaining weight so I must be doing something right. Any suggestions from the moms here.
Hello everyone and thank you for helping me on my question. My brother is having a baby any day now and he is planning on flying out here most likely when the baby is 5 days old. Is that bad? Or how old should the baby be before she travels on a plane with the mother and father. If so what are the reasons why?
