Beautiful Skin For Pennies

Posted by: Happy Safe Baby  /  Category: Baby Health

Here is an easy facial steam to give yourself a home herbal spa for a fraction of the price!

Ingredients:

4 cups of water

1/4 cup dried Herbs*

cooking pot/Bowl

1. Bring water to boil in pot

2. Add herbs, cover and turn off heat

3. After 2 minutes, uncover, give the herbs a stir, and remove from stove

To Use:

1. Place pot on counter or where you will be comfortable with your face about 6” above it. Drape a large towel over your head and allow it to hang down around the pot so that it catches the vapors and steam.

2. Keeping a comfortable distance, try and stay under the towel as long as you comfortably can.

3. Your skin will be baby soft!

Tips:

1. Dry Skin: Rose petals , lavender flowers, chamomile

2. Normal Skin: Mints, lemon balm

3. Oily: Sage, rosemary

4. You can use 3 – 5 drops of *essential oils in replace of herbs.

This is the same treatment that a salon would do for triple the price. You may feel itchy and a tingling sensation, this is normal. It is your skin reacting to increased circulation caused by the steam.

Continue this weekly, itchiness will decrease and the increase circulation will leave your face aglow.

Keep the herb solution and put it in a spray bottle: spray to refreshen your room, spray on your face as a toner, and spray on counters after they are wiped down.

How Do You Use Essential Oils?

Posted by: Happy Safe Baby  /  Category: Baby Health

Like a lot of people, I also thought that essential oils were only for your bath.

Yet, after using chemical cleaners for literally decades, I was surprised to find out that most essential oils will do a whole bunch more, including disinfect most surface areas.

When you consider all of the new strains of flus and colds that seem to pop up on a regular basis, this is good news for you and your loved ones health.

What’s more, they’re a cinch to use. Simply by placing a few drops in hot water, they will kill airborne bacteria.

You can also boost your immune system using essential oils instead of harming it with harsh chemicals.

Here Are A “Few” Ideas To Get You Started…

1. By simmering 2 to 8 drops of peppermint and lavender you will kill cold virus & help the infected person breathe easier.

2. Put 4 drops of lavender, 2 drops of lemon, 2 drops of rosemary or 3 drops of eucalyptus into 1 quart of water. Pour this mixture into a spray bottle. Then, shake well in a spray bottle and use on kitchen counters, cutting boards, sinks, floors.

3. With the mixture of essential oils above, you can sprinkle 1 to 2 drops on a cloth & place in dryer for a fresh, natural scent and eliminate irritating softener sheets.

4. Research shows that eucalyptus oil kills dust mites. Simply add 25 drops in your washing machine rinse cycle.

5. Drop 2 to 5 of lavender in your hand soap for an antibacterial wash. Mix lavender with Aloe Vera for an instant relief of burns

6. Use a few drops of lavender on a damp cloth to wipe down bathroom & water spots.

7. Place 2 to 5 drops of lavender or chamomile on your pillow to help you relax.

8. To discourage mice you can use diluted peppermint spray.

9. Apply tea tree on a cut or sting to disinfect it with out the hurting sting.

10. For stressful days, place 2 to 10 drops of geranium in a bowl of hot water.

11. Mix 2 to 4 drops of eucalyptus with 4 Tablespoons of Jojoba oil and rub on bottom of feet to help lessen a cold’s symptoms.
